and I don't mean I'm looking to pinch anybody's hives.
I have plenty of fruit trees (with more planned), lots of existing fruit hedging (with more planned), and some wildflowers (with the intention of converting more of the meadow into wildflower intense) and I'd be quite happy to consider somebody keeping a couple hives on my land. Between the benefit of better pollinating and the soothing sound of busy bees around the garden, I think I get a good deal, and somebody who may not have a suitable location gets a chance to pursue their hobby.
The downside of living in such a rural location is that anybody local will have space of their own and anybody not local will have a drive to get here. Still, I'd rather offer and get no response than leave a need unfulfilled.
Drop me a line if you're interested or know anybody that might be. I've sent an email to the two beekeeping associations nearby.
