Spent an hour at the dentists this morning , not painful but I'm amazed how tired Iam now I'm home . Next appointment is another long one.
Should be up and doing but I'm going to have a sleep first, hubby is bottling beer so I need to keep out of the way.

my thoughts are with you..i went last year, and she broke my tooth in half when lunging it out, leaving the root inside…..pieces of it worked its way out….but still plays up…and no…i ain't going back…i would rather suffer than let that woman near my trap again

MY dentist is eye candy! Very kind, very thoughtful, and innovative too as I have soft teeth and he's found ways of helping me keep them even at my age! :innocent:

Superglue?
I remember when I had my front teeth done, 8 crowns in 1 sitting, 4hrs to grind them down and then 3hrs 2 weeks later for my new teeth.
I have no back teeth, sorry I have 1 premolar (sorry, again I have 3/4 of 1 cos the fillings fell out) they got taken out ages when I was little
I am terrified of dentists

Madcat, my sympathies are with you. I still have bits of tooth root in my gum years after having the tooth out. It took about 45 minutes to remove as well. The dentist showed me afterwards. It had a spiral root.

Wow you all seem to have had a far worse time than me. I'm a bit sore this morning , advice from dentist is anti inflammatory tabs and phone tea time tomorrow if its still sore. :fc: it will be ok.
It's a good excuse to take my mind of the "pain" by doing interesting fibre things instead of housework :innocent: I'm not sure I'm up for a skeining marathon but it needs done to free up a load of bobbins .

Better than cleaning the oven. ;)

I spent an hour at the dentist this morning too. Got my first white filling! A massive filling, wasn't very nice :( It was either the white filling or a crown for the tooth. I have rubbish teeth- runs in the family. Also got a small filling done, had 6 injections, a scale and polish, she found another white filling that will need done, she ground down an old filling to neaten it up and she sandpapered between two teeth to remove a rough bit!
And that's not including the other two small fillings that are getting done next time.
Still I could tell you some horror stories about my sisters experiences, not least the time the dentist drilled her tongue by mistake and had to put in three stitches into it....

Eek , not good about the tongue . Sounds like you have an ok dentist though.
