Does anyone know any more about the 21 "wild boar" believed to have been let out during a break-in at a place in Maesteg? There's a bit of agency news that's being regurgitated endlessly on the TV and radio, but no-one has confirmed whether or not they were pure wild boar or hybrids.

Just read the latest news updates. They were wild boar, apparently.

In that part of the world. . . . . they won't last very long!

Hi liz, they are pure wild boar. Chatted to the guy in maesteg slaughter house, plus also seen the carcasses. He had a dangerouse animal license, plus also spoke to a butcher that had gone down to the farm last month. He has had them quite a few years, found out after we bought some from jim crow.
Hope that helps
Ruth ps 6 arrested now, something strange going on, why let them all loose, fun shooting them for some I gather !

Update ;-
6 arrested and found with dead pigs in the back of their van, apparently left others out while killing some and loading them in van.
About time some of these were caught.
