Hi
Although I have kept sheep before, I have today brought my first pedigree's, 5 lovely Suffolk ewes, the question is should I join some sort of society or club, the only one I have found seems to be based in Ireland, is this the right one??? :hshoe:

Err... it has its head office in Nothern Ireland, which is part of the UK... ;)
And yes, according to the National Sheep Association, their website is http://www.suffolksheep.org/ (http://www.suffolksheep.org/)

Good job its not in Scotland then eh?

Should you join some sort of society?----only if you think they will further your aims in keeping /selling these sheep!
Some societies are little more than paper gathering machines that do little to promote or improve the animals/animal keepers they purport to represent

They are paper swappers Tim, take paper with queens heads on in exchange for paper with sheep heads on!
