Title: Kaplan turbine on ebay

This turbine would be in excess of £15,000 nowadays, a bargain if you have a specific need

Found it it looks and sounds fine unfortunately we do not have the necessary drop and probably not the head required. Here is the missing link

at a nominal 4.2m head, 50kw corresponds to about 1200litres/second (100% efficiency) or more like 2000 l/s for 50kw with a more realistic 60% system efficiency, so you probably need a fair sized stream to get the best out of this turbine.

years ago we had a river and we could only pull 15KW though we didn't have that head
