wanted a wild flying turkey stag or pair, to go with the 2 young hens i have.... east anglia, tel 01508 530927

If they are wild and flying how do you keep them on your own land? Not being cheeky, just curious.
-
he he! Was thinking just the same! Maybe you have to make a home worth staying at and two girls waiting for the lucky stag would tick that box!
-
Yes, that did cross my mind - but if they are wild and flying too wouldn't they wander off as well? The food and accommodation would have to be pretty well 10 star I reckon! ;) ;D
-
clipped wings. I'm not sure I would want to live with Harry - his butt leaks and he wields a blowtorch!!!! ;D ;D

IME NOT MAD YOU KNOW. i just like setting fire to things, :P :P Wild turkeys, a bit like guinea fowl etc, got a good home, regular feed, a bit of hows your father why would they want to leave, same as a cat, they tame up nicely. Listen at you is that you with the chooper in your hand.
-
I will let you into a secret but dont tell anyone else. THEY HOME like pigeons, what you do is you sell them for £30 each, and a few days later you get them back so you can keep selling them at £30 a go.

;D ;D ;D Ah, I like your plan - very devious!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Slate turkeys are a very old, single breasted variety, independent and fly well. They are currently on the endangered register. Describe your turkeys to me.
-
harry is talking about the true wild turkey. are you still planning on using them for hunting harry.
-
yes, a few but manly sell the majority, got 2 hens need a stag, will keep these as apparently they are very tame if you keep them
