Title: Propogator into incubator for eggs?
Post by: r+lchick on October 02, 2009, 02:05:39 pm
I have ended up with all manner of equipment and want to modify what I already have for what I need. So, could I modify my propogator and make an incubator?  Anyone out there tried this one.  :cat: :chook:

you could try but you would need a new heating element a new thermostat and then you need to think will it keep the tempreture that you need. you can get cheap second hand ones may be easier. but have a go if you want. but avoid expensive eggs.

If you do get an incubator don't throw out the propagator - use this as a brooder chamber (you may need to increas the height to allow for some initial growth
