Title: Almost poorly?!?!..

Hi after some advice if possible..

I hatched some marans from different people up and the country last summer,
All but one have come along great all in full lay with big red combs,the one in question seems uninterested
Often just stands around asleep it's comb is still very small and pink not bright red and 99%sure it's never laid
It's eat's and drinks fine but feels thin no weight to it and has hunched up neck appearance but not impact
Crop no mites and wormed regular...
Any ideas please????

I would guess at sour or impacted crop first Offgridgreg, so check the crop and poos. Then I would move on to probable internal development issues or Lymphoid Lucosis. The latter group is incurable. Some hens do never lay: we have a pretty 4 year old Wyandotte who doesn't.
