Title: A prayer for TAsers
Post by: Rosemary on September 30, 2009, 02:28:26 pm
Again form the parish magazine.

From a 17th Century Nun
"Lord, thou knowest me better than I know myself. Keep me from the fatal flaw of thinking that I must say something on every subject and on every occasion. With my vast store of wisdom, it seems a pity not to use it all. But thou knowest, Lord, that I would like a few friends left at the end."

 :D  I like that!!

I browse our village website now and then, and this last couple of weeks it has made interesting reading.  Some of the forum members have ruffled plenty of feathers with their comments ......quite personal attacks to be honest.  Its ended with a few people being banned ......and they did not have many members to start with!!!

They would do well to read this quote and take note, I think!!!

But if we all shut up Rosemary then TAS would be such a boring place  :roflanim:

I like that. A gentle reminder to think before we speak, even though we think we know what we are talking about!
