Are there any hedging plants that aren't poisonous to sheep and that they won't eat?  cheers........... Ree

Hawthorn & blackthorn are good (and you'll get sloes) being prickly the sheep are less inclined to eat it - LESS INCLINED - not guarenteed ! Fence young plants until they are established and they might stand a chance. But sheep (not being the brightest of animals IMHO) will eat pretty much anything !
Good luck !  ;D

Our Bud is a compulsive hedge browser - hawthorn, blackthorn, wild roses - all get his devoted attention. The only good thing is that with his wee short legs and square body, he can't reach very high. But you can see where he can reach to!
