Muscovy ducks and drakes, all ages from 4 months to four years. Black & White pairs/trios etc or grey drakes. Really great birds - laid back, friendly, quiet, (non-quacking) , free range raised, good layers March to August or if you light year round between midnight and dawn and feed them up on layers pellets. Lovely big eggs! The drakes are good table birds if you raise up a brood of them. The girls are excellent clokers if you need rare breed hens eggs sat upon.

I really must downsize the number of ducks I have as the workload is just too much with almost 60 of the devils! They don't need a stream or pond - a kiddy pool where they can splash about works just fine and is easy to rinse out daily. They do need a coop or safe shed to sleep at night and are used to putting themselves to bed at night.

I had a rio once. One hatched 21 the other 19 - 40 betwenn them in 3 days of each other. The lawn mower was going flat out to feed them with clippings.Very tasty - in fact my favourite meat.
