Last Sunday we sadly lost our 4 year old deerhound, very sudden and very shocking.
(I have put this also on the marketplace forum)
We are looking to getting another dog ASAP in an attempt to fill the hole but this time we would like a deerhound x bedlington cross or similar,
We are based in South Lanarkshire in Scotland but are able to travel plus we have family in the north of england who could collect etc.
Many Thanks
Colin

Oh no Colin, how very sad. They do leave such a big hole. What happened - or maybe you don't want to talk about it?
We lost our wonderful wolfie when she was 3 a number of years ago now and we have never forgotten her, but loved the time we had with her. It's good to spend some time adjusting to your loss and going through the full grieving process. Makes it easier in the long run but awful at the time. You know where we are if you want to talk.
Love to you and Debbie

I'm very sorry to hear.
Never dealt with the lost of a dog before, but i know how hard it must be, since i have a little dog myself. Adopted her 5 years ago and she's like part of the family.
It's very sad... :(

So sorry.
I love Deerhounds. People I work for had one. They were devasted to find he had died during the night - just went suddenly. He was 8 though, which is probably not a bad age for a large dog.

Oh no, so sorry, onions everywhere.
Lost Fred at 19 at Christmas and there is a Fred shaped hole my two other furbies can't fill.
