Yes!! We have a small sanaan x pygmy, and each time she kids, we know exactly what she has had without looking. The male is usually standing yelling either in the corner or in the water bucket where she has put him, whilst the female she is fine with.  Even if she has a single, if its male, she is not in the slightest bit interested, and every attempt to get her to feed him is hopeless.....you know who ends up bottling him.

do you mean nature or nurture?
its the male who determines the sex. we have always had a strong ratio of males in whatever species.
of course girls are the superior sex.  :-J :-J
