Title: Boer X Toggenburg Nanny looking for good home
Post by: shandygoat on March 11, 2014, 11:52:38 pm
Shandy is a Boer X Toggenburg rising 4 yr old who gave me 4l of rich and creamy milk per day last year - great for cheese and yoghurt (still have some cheese for samples!).  She is strong and healthy, well trained and very good natured, easy to milk, trim feet etc Halter trained. She is horned, pretty white and ginger (hence her name). Good conformation. Easy kidder, her first was twins and last year triplets. She is not in kid at the moment (have lost my transport so haven't been able to get her to the billy) but she is due back in season end of the month.

Sadly Shandy's beloved old companion "aunty" has to be put down soon (old age and arthritis) together with my changed work commitments mean that I can't keep her - she deserves a good home and new companion and would be free to anyone offering her a good future. You are welcome to come and meet her and I will happily chat through any queries.

Hi, a rough idea of where you are would help. We could give her a home but not if you are in Cornwall :)
