Title: Urgently looking for sheep transport Devon to Powys

Hi all,

My partners and I are urgently looking for a transport service or individual with the right equipment and licenses that we can pay to transport a small flock of 9 in-lamb ewes from Devon to Powys (approx 250 miles).  The current owner cannot keep them, thus the urgency, and we don't quite have the equipment to transport that many for that distance ourselves.  Happy to pay any reasonable fee, grateful for all suggestions.  We've tried to contact Lucy Clark at Clark Transport but no response as yet.  Much thanks!

Hi,

You could try one of the welsh haulers, ie, Edwards as they are down this way weekly, Or Bampton Cattle transport they will be able to point you to someone,

Thanks meli, we were hoping to find a small hauler as the big guys are a little intimidating, but probably we should ring and ask as you suggest, I guess it can't hurt!
