I have seen a house that has some land with it for sale. Most of it is arable, so ok - it's agricultural land. I am ok with that as I don't plan to put my horse on it, BUT what I want to know is whether arable and land for livestock is all classed the same. I'd like to put sheep on it but don't know if I would need planning to change the use? Defra website is as useful as ever... :innocent:

You'll be fine putting sheep on it, there are no sub-classifications for planning purposes - agricultural land is agricutural land, so you won't need to worry about change of use.
