Hooray! Finally managed to get some new bloodlines in my flock of Steinbachers. Collecting them this Friday so very excited. 3 females joining my 2 males and my last female so hopefully they will on get it on quickly as the ladies are coming into season very soon. And I have my new incubator so we're all ready to go....
Excited!

Great news! Have you seen them already? Hope they all gel brilliantly and you soon have the patter of little webbed feet. I'm waiting with eager anticipation for goose season here too - ganders have just started bickering so it must be close!

Amanda... if you are overrun with eggs.... have incubator waiting! (well hopefully, need to do a chicken egg run first as hen numbers are at an all-time low thanks to Mr Stoat..), but would love to do another few geese...
Anke.

Thats good news 2 weeks as light and warmth will get them going all the best in this breeding season .

I'd love to get some eggs too if you have any available

Thanks all.
Now we have 2 ganders (I think, def one anyway) and females from 2 different sources it would be good to get mixed eggs out there Anke and Clydes and you could start your own breeding flocks, we could do with more Steinbachers out there!
Will keep you posted ;)

That's brilliant news Amanda especially after loosing one recently, I am either hoping to rehome my geese or they are for the freezer along with a few runner drakes!

Thanks Anne, sure they would prefer being rehomed ;D I forgot to give you your cat basket by the way, but it's safe until our next cuppa
