Title: Hereford pigs?

Has anyone ever seen or heard of this breed in the UK? They seem a really nice breed, designed to have the same markings as Hereford cattle  :) Their quite popular in america & it doesn't surprise me they originated from over there ;D ;D ;D

Not a known breed in the UK to my knowledge.

Whilst some breeds were named in the UK and then exported, some were developed in the USA, and named after American areas (which were in turn named after UK one).

I wouldn't really go that far "Fowgill Farm" as they've clearly established a breed with clear breed guidelines & markings that's just not available in the UK yet & I personally quite like the look of it, shame there's none over here. Also isn't it how new breeds are formed? But granted America is in a league of its own & definatley does do a lot of things OTT x
