Hi i don't now if anyone can help I'm looking at a farm that has the higher level stewardship i have highland cattle can i still out winter them with feeders and would i be-able to feed my sheep using hay hecks and troughs.

You would need to check the exact prescriptions for the areas in question. Ask to see the full HLS agreement (which will include a whole-farm ELS or UELS to underpin it.)
But you definitely do need to check, yes, because some of the options will preclude any kind of feeder. We have to scatter hay on the ground - and that's on ground that isn't in HLS as well as ground that is.
