4 power cuts today over 1 hr each time, so Gabi and I took a trip to Llandod to stock up on Candles, it was like a ghost town, everywhere was shut because the tills weren't working, no cashpoints working either,by the time we got back home our stream had burst it's banks and the drive was awash again, more to come for the rest of the week including snow apparently. :gloomy:

Power off here, too. Think a big area was affected.
Trust it to be when I had a joint out to cook. Never mind back on now and dinner done.
Still pouring and blowing a gale. Keeping torches, candles and camping stove thing at hand.
Hope you're both okay and everyone else.
SNOW????? When?????? How much?????

It was gloriously sunny here this morning if a tad windy. The wind got up as the day went on and now it's raining fit to burst. River Severn is still very very high and I'm glad I don't live nearer than I do.
Tiz, please don't use the 's' word. I don't want to think about it.

We are flooded here again and my waders have sprung a leak so will be getting wet to get to work. The sheep are pretty miserable about it and have taken to just staying in their nice warm barn but very unlike them as you know Tiz.
The ducks and geese are coping better but the land is really not. Just a bit of time to dry out would be really, really nice.
I guess it could be a lot worse, really feel for those trying to cope down south.
