Today we decided as it was a nice afternoon we would have a trip to Fraserburgh beach. We had a picnic in the car of chip butties then off we went for a walk and play on the beach. Dogs had a great time, tide was going out but big waves rolling in now and again. My heart was in my mouth when Jake spotted what looked like a stick and went after it. I shouted on him and he about turned to swim back as happy as could be. What he did not know was there was a big wave coming behind him. His little legs were going like mad and he made it back to us no bother but I was so scared. There were quite a few people and dogs out this afternoon, we always take little bags with us but others just let their dogs mess on the paths which for walkers with children is not nice. its just lazy and no regard for other people.

So was Jake surfing?
We live by the sea but rarely take the time to go to the beach. Definitely this summer. Definitely

We are on the coast Rosemary but do not make the most of what we have. Yesterday we both felt better for our trip out with the dogs and intend to do it more often.

you must live near us then. did you go up the dunes? they are ace for knackering a dog out. we went to fraserburgh beach once and had a good walk only for it to start thunder lightening and a huge downpour. we were absolutely drenched to the skin by the time we got to the car. not a drop of rain had fallen at home though so it must have ts own micro-climate.
