Title: first chick hatched
Post by: bigchicken on February 02, 2014, 01:57:08 pm
I set some Scots dumpy bantam eggs 3 cuckoo & 5 black to check fertility , the cuckoos were empty and the blacks were full cuckoo cockeral on a sticky wicket. Anyway the blacks have started hatching one strong chick so far exited or what.

Would love to see some pics!

We've got 7 Wyandotte on lock down due on Tuesday, our first chicks ever! Soooo nervous! We bought 12 via ebay, I dropped 1  :-J and 4 that didn't develop. Got my brooder, heat lamp set up....just need to wait.
