Title: Hello from Dalleagles
Post by: DullBookworm on February 02, 2014, 10:22:12 am
My husband and I have moved into a small with all of 2 acres in east Ayrshire.
We are total novices and so far haven't ventured any further than 2 cats, a dog and 2 chickens plus a cockerel, though we are (from our student years) fairly good at turning many a strange plant into wine....

Looking forward to heaps of advice and hopefully meeting some of you.

Lorraine and Stephen

Hello and welcome from the bigchicken up in Fife. I know your area very well, I used to do a bit of Fox control on the hills to the back Knockburnie farm, The Staid, Brockloch, and the farm at the t junction which belonged to a Mr Brown. My father was a dairy man at Auchincross farm along the road towards Benson smiddy. Dreach in the winter but lovely in the summer. Flow gentle sweet Afton.
