Title: Best hatching seasons?
Post by: donny on September 13, 2009, 10:25:22 am
Hi all

I have often wondered what seasons are best for collecting and hatching your own eggs over the year.
I am looking for the season for:

Ducks
Chickens
Turkeys
Geese

Any help would be appreciated.

Can I add to list?
Quail

(still saving up for an incubater... wont get much of one for £1.50)

geese tend to lay feb-july on average, quail lay all year round (they are worse than rabbits)
as for the rest spring-summer is general concensus
