Title: turnip tops
Post by: northfifeduckling on September 10, 2009, 02:45:06 pm
I planted one strange variety of turnips (a friend gave me the seeds), which are called brokkoli turnips. They don't have large enough flowers to pick, though (nothing like brokkoli!)...
Can you actually eat  turnip tops (foliage) from the small white variety??   :&>

I believe you can harvest them when young and eat them like spring greens, but haven't tried them myself.
