Due to an epic mix up with passports, we now have to pick a new name for my daughters horse. He's a 14hh coloured cob, a real character although not the brightest!
She'd really like something catchy as would like to do some showing.
His 'home' name is Minstrel so wanted to work round that.......
Any ideas more than welcome, I am hopeless at this sort of thing :-[
Help! :horse:

Troubadour

How about daughter's first name followed by wandering minstrel. or the amazing court jester. High flyer. touch of class.
-
Maddie ... if she has a bit mad character but still a nice name for her.
-
Ministry of Magic / Defence / Sound
-
All fab, keep em coming!
We have, Master Minstrel, May Be Minstrel and Mistaken Minstrel so far
-
Strolling Minstrel - evokes "Stroller" for those of us over a certain age!
And because I can't stop singing it in my head:
:innocent:
A wandering minstrel I -
A thing of shreds and patches,
Of ballads, songs and snatches,
And dreamy lullaby!
My catalogue is long,
Through every passion ranging,
And to your humours changing
I tune my supple song! :innocent:

Minstrel - immediately its chocolate
crispy coated
chocolate buttons
or
pied piper

I like May Be Minstrel :)
-
I like May Be Minstrel too and Ministry of Magic!
A coloured cob I used to ride was called Sam his show name: Samuel Chocolate Smartypants. I almost died when that was read out!
My current cob is called Perry on his passport (bit naff!) but has been called Cobby since he was a foal- not very imaginative but certainly not embarrassing!

May Be Minstrel is actually very fitting due to name/microchip/passport mix up by last owner! Had to have him scanned and vet checked to find out who he actually was....all it determind was who he wasn't ::)
Hence needing new name :)
-
It's gotta be May Be Minstrel - great name with a great story behind it :)

How about Box of minstrels
-
or a packet of minstrels :roflanim: :roflanim: :yum: :yum:

Go retro with the catchphrase 'melt in your mouth' (not in your hand) so you could call her Melt-in-your-mouth Minstrel.
