Title: will my ducks need worming at 13 wks old?
Post by: poppy on September 05, 2009, 09:19:52 pm
Hi all,

I have 3 khaki campbell ducks which are 13 weeks old now. I just wanted to make sure I am feeding them right. They have a constant supply of Goose and Duck Grower/Finisher Pellets (from the Small Holder Range), soaked corn and access to grass. They don't seem to be putting much weight on though, when I pick them up I can easily feel their breast bone, their necks look a little scrawny too. Is there anything else I should be feeding them or do you think they have worms? (Which wormer and where do I get it from)

Thank you in advance.

Poppy

Hi there
I have 4 ducks - mongrels 2 of them are about the same age as yours. Their necks are looking scrawny at the moment with their adult feathers coming in. Definitely going through the gawky teenager phase. I just gave all my birds a course of Verm-x just recently. The older birds look great on the same diet.

My old girl is looking scrawny too just now - neck feathers have been moulted
