Title: Fibre Cement or gal profile sheeting - Agricultural Shed
Post by: netmgr on January 22, 2014, 10:49:24 pm
What are folks thoughts on the material to clad an agricultural shed?

Im being offered Gavanized steel profile sheeting or fibre cement.

Thoughts so far:
Steel noisy when it rains and condensation, rust eventually

fibre cement brittle, but less noise and no condensation, might last longer

My garage is galvanised steel. 15yrs old and no signs of rust yet. Don't notice any excessive noise in the rain but the acorns falling on the roof are loud.
