Where did you go? I liked the Documentry she was in about the Cruse ship, (http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Transports/ship-032.gif)she's changed a hell of a lot since then, less frumpy but what a sense of humour(http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Laughing/tv-062.gif)

She was at the Caird Hall in Dundee for the first time. To be honest I have seen her several times in the past and she always does a great show. November 3rd I go to  Bette Midler again - for that I can't wait!

You definately spend too much time in youth clubs ;D ::) ;D ;D

I feel much older than you now cause I love female singers - Diana Ross, Martha Reeves, all Motown, Soul, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Pop, Northern Soul, mostly 60,70,80's stuff.

Diana Ross was good live, but then again so was Michael Jackson, shom I saw twice and he was a great showman - but we won't go there cause we've been there before.

OH and Victoria Wood and Joan Rivers are excellent live if you get a chance to see them -  ;D ;D ;D

Although I'm a total rock chic at heart - something about men in tight leather trousers  ;D - I like pretty much all types of music from hard trance right through to classical (depends on my mood at the time)
Sandy, check out operatic rock on you tube, my dad's gotten right into that !
I'll try and get a link - it's wild !  :o

I grew up with Mowtown and loved it and still do, I used to sell Northern Soul music!!!! got it from a mate who went to Wigan Pier!!!! but, I always liked things different ::)Loved Trantasouras Rex..NOW I KNOW I HAVE SPELT THAT WRONG!!!!! loved kinks, family, fairport convention, jethro tull, the ANimals, Doors, hippy stuff, mammas and papas but Prodigy gets me up and going, more than my morning cup of tea and I also love Evanesance, well you know who I mean......steve is off for a ride in his Daddy's Morgan, so if you see him looking red faced in a cream morgan, give him a wave

Sorry guys....too modern for me...give me Bing or O'l Blue Eyes any Day...Oh and my favourite female singer is Barbara Striesand...she could make this old man verrry happy!  ;D  ;D  ;D

Having said that Jane McDonald is really cool as well and I love to watch her on Loose Women (at least I did when I had the time)

I like Billy Connolly too - but he cant sing - he's good with the banjo though - and
game for a laugh!

My best friend when I was in my teens worked in Woolies on the record stand - she was soooo
lucky - we used to tape all the singles over the weekends and take em back.

I used to call her the wonder of woolies  ;D ;D ;D

We went ice skating every night and used to DJ there in the sumer holidays - twas the days
