Hiya folks,
How about a new game where you put down a line of words from a song, and we have to name the artist and the song title.
If you get it right - you put down the next line, and so on to keep it going. I'll start one - if you know you are right you just go right ahead and place another one to do......will get us all singing too ;D ;D ;D
"I can see clearly now the rain has gone"
-
OK Too old for you ---
How about
Let them eat cake she says, just like, mariantoinette
-
I know the rain one - Johnny Nash and sunshiney day but I couldn't think of a line of a song
-
aaawwww Annie - you were right too - you must know lines to songs that you like
If not you must start listening to the Radio - OR get out more ;D ;D ;D
I was hooked on a magazine you could get in the 70's called words - it had all the words
to all the pop songs in the charts - I got it every month - wish I still had them, but still
know all the damn words from those 70's hits ;D ;D ;D
It was my favourite category when we used to play trivial pursuit too lol showing my age again
-
Queen Bohemian Rhapsody
"The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive"
-
How about
Let them eat cake she says, just like, mariantoinette
Not BR, Queen's "Killer Queen"
(Im only 27 but dont mess with a rocker!!)
How about something country...
"Sunrise, this is the last day that I'll ever see"
-
I did what I did for Maria by Tony Christie
"Poppet Locket polka dot it"
-
Hoedown throwdown (hannah montanta girl?)
Hows about something less cheesy...
"End of passion play, crumbling away, I'm your source of self destruction"
-
Masters of Puppets? Who are they?
-
Metallica.
Or do you mean hoedown one? Some crappy teenie pop stuff, miley cyrrus or something. I work with teenagers!
"for we grew up tall and proud, under the shadow of the mushroom cloud"
Or...
"Flames licked round the sacred spire, And the congregation's last line of defence Was engulfed in fire"
Or...
"Your smile looks like heaven but your eyes hold a storm about to brew"
If nobody gets the last one, I'll cry!
-
Don't know, just googled it!!!!

Going back afew years, I had to cheat as well but loved this "Hippy Band", saw them a few times live as well. Leas singer had a bit of a quivery voice.
Just for one second, one glance upon your loom
The flower of my childhood could have fit within this room
Does it of my youth show, tears of yesterday?
Broken hearts, within a heart, as love first came my way.
Do the lifeline patterns change as I became a man
An added aura untold blend as I asked for her hand.
Did your golden needle sew it, thread virginial white
As long as we embrace as one upon our wedding night.
