Title: Looking for smallholders in Scotland
Post by: lab7 on January 16, 2014, 11:09:56 am
Hi everyone,
I apologise for the mass mailing of this, but I am very keen to get your views on a number of things. I am carrying out a research project with the Moredun Foundation looking at the views of farmers and smallholders on the possibility of Schmallenberg virus affecting animals this year; what you think about vaccination for other diseases; and what you think about wildlife - can they live alongside domestic animals or should they be controlled?
As a smallholder, I would really like to get the views of my fellow smallholders. So far it has mainly been farmers who have completed my questionnaire, so if you have 10 minutes free, I would really appreciate your help.
You can find out more about the study at Moredun (http://www.moredun.org.uk/news/examination-current-attitudes-towards-threat-schmallenberg-virus-within-scottish-farming-commun) or access the online questionnaire at online questionnaire (https://survey.napier.ac.uk/n/zzz67.aspx)
Many thanks,
Mary.
PS - thank you to those of you who have already completed the questionnaire!
