we had 14 flakes of snow and then lots of rain...
forecast map has let me down again...
did anyone actually get snow last night or was the BBC just fibbing about the weather to me?

Snow gates on the A93 at Braemar are closed, I hear, so I assume snow there. None here though.
-
I was expecting sleety rain and as far as I can tell it was mostly rain. From frosty ruts back to the quagmire ::)
-
we had some saturday, does that count? :) we didnt seem to get the rain that was forecast last night, makes a change.

Olney up to 1000 m none in aviemore will be warmer Friday keep the fires burning .
-
We had rain and sleet instead of snow and we are 800 ft up , so I think it was borderline.

Not seen anything white 15 minutes down the road from you Big B :eyelashes:

A teent sprinkle, but not enough to cover the ground.

Yesterday we had -2degC in the morning shade, then by 10pm we had heavy rain until well after 1am. When we got up at 7am the ground was frozen and the fog was so thick I could hardly see the edge of the garden 10m away. When the fog lifted I could see snow on the hills.
So, yes, but only on the hilltops.
Oh, I'm near Edzell.

It's forecast for tomorrow afternoon down here. Getting colder already, and it's raining hard - cat just came back in after 2 minutes! :innocent:

We had snow Saturday night, a sprinkling. Melted slightly then froze overnight so was nice and slippy on Sunday. Warmed up Sunday night- snowed a tiny bit at 6pm, it didn't lie though, and then it went to rain by 8.
Not that I'm that far away from you either :innocent:

i finally concluded the bbc had lied to me...
