That's very good value. OSB meat is great. I was very pleased with it when I raised them.

You must be losing money hand over fist at that price and we moan about supermarkets selling produce too cheaply. :innocent: If I lived in your area and needed pork, I'd snap your hands off. Thank God I don't live in your area though.

Hi Bodger
Am just about breaking even at that price but its better that than feeding pigs that no one wants to buy and really losing money, i have my own butchery and cut up the pigs myself having been a butcher for 25 years, so that saves money i just have the killing costs at my local abbatoir which they are very reasonable to me.
Regards

I know what you mean about feeding pigs that nobody wants. I do worry about it. I've managed to sell my current litter but what about the next? :fc:

Hi Arl,
Slightly of subject but which courier do you use, might be useful for future reference as we're only a few miles away from you?
You could PM me if you don't want to post on here.

Hi
Was also wondering what courier you use, also have a few porkers available.
Sending from south wales region, anybody else use couriers for sending pork down this way
Any information greatfully received

Thanks Arlene
I've just 'googled'  Direct Logistics Goole and they seem to be part of APC overnight.
I  used what must be a sister company from Malton for some Dexter Beef  at Christmas and they were very good. It's not easy finding a company that will transport meat
It seems to be part of a nationwide group so I presume they'll cover Wales too cwmfarm123.
