Hi - I have a Ryeland wether who is great fun and leaps around all over the place and very friendly. He is also though quite boisterous at feeding time. He isn't aggressive as such just very bold. but dominant over the other sheep ( I only have 4!)
Generally he is very friendly and will eat from your hand and follow you around the field. But have noticed the last few weeks he has mounted my other sheep ! ( 2 wether and one ewe)
Can this happen ? I suppose like some dogs can even though castrated....
Anything that could have gone wrong with castration?? . I bought him as a wether. He is a 2013 lamb.
Any insights would be great....

Have you put a hand under him to check for any testicles either in the scrotal sac or up inside the body??

It could be just dominance, but as you have a ewe with him you need to be sure he is properly castrated. As shep53 says, get a hand underneath and feel for any lumps ;)
