A friend was saying she wants some, apparently they are small?  Google didn't help.... ??? ???

butterfly is a way of cutting the breast meat before cooking - does she mean that? chicken cooked this way is called butterfly chicken on the menu so im sure duck would be too.

It's another name for spatchcock in cooking.

Could be - they have lovely colours like butterflys, and are small
