I'm looking for a good layer bantam which preferably doesn't go broody. If anyone Knows what breeds are best or could recommend me to a breed. Would a leghorn/marans bantam be good for this purpose?
Thanks

I'd go for pure leghorns. The ones that I kept a few years ago were pretty good layers and didn't go broody.

Our Brown English Leghorn Bantams are fantastic layers WoodlandsDevon. So good at converting feed to eggs that we exported them with us -80 grammes of feed a day gets you a 45 to 50 gramme egg 6 days of the week. The White variety will be far easier to source and may be better layers. We have only had a few instances of broodiness and simply taking them out of the nest box a couple of times sorted it.
So I agree with Bodger -White Leghorn Bantams are the way to go.
