Hi
I'm Heather, we are starting out trying to be a little more self sufficient. We have a 1 1/2 acre field about 20 mins from our house were we are growing fruit and veg, we have 15 chickens at home and this weekend get our first 3 weaners !!!!!
Wow, it has all happened so quick its is brilliant. Little nervous about the pigs I must admit not sure how they will go down with the neighbours, but we have to give it a go.
So watch out for me I am bound to have loads and loads of questions.
;D

Hi
Welcome to the site, dont be nervous of piggies they are just so lovely. What breed are you getting? I remember my first pigs, I was thrilled but I started with fully grown Mangalitzas slightly crazy really as we were complete novices.
Where are you ?

Hi
Thanks for the welcome :)
Aren't Pigs great, it feels like they have always been here and the garden looks so right with them (hope that makes sense !) :pig: !!!
The neighbours have bee fine ..... so far, one loves them so hopefully should have no problems, especially as she is the one that is closest to them.
I have a couple of questions but I have posted them on the pig section.
See you around
Heather
