Have you been watching 'Stargazing'?
Unfortunately it's clouded over here, but I keep checking for any sign of an aurora. We have seen a few in the 18 years we've been here but only the first was the full green curtains affair. Wonderful to see.
-
actually no - I've decided to get rid of the tv this year - fed up of paying £145 for endless repeats.
The article says it could be visible as far south as south wales tonight - and it is clear here at the mo'
don't know what the chances are but If anyone seen a strange light in the north it may be worth getting out of bed tonight.
-
there was a clear interval about 9.30, but it's clouded over again :( , seem to have spent my life hoping to see this, did you see 'stargazing' the other night when 'Liz ?' was on location and the lights were behind her? SOOO envious

I went out after SGL finished and thought I saw a wee bit of colour, but not sure I was looking in the right direction - South. Can anyone tell me - or would you see it any direction?
-
Northern lights?
I was looking North, isn't it to do withthe North Pole?
-
Mainly to the north, but we have had it directly overhead. Never to the south though unless you live in the southern hemisphere.
