Title: Looking for a little bit of land to rent in Fife
Post by: CAS12 on January 06, 2014, 06:13:26 pm
I am looking for a small amount of land in Fife. Not looking for anything fancy as  I am just looking for some land so that I can get a few animals. I could offer rent each week/month, cash in hand. Ideally in the East Neuk area of Fife but would consider anywhere in Fife.

Thanks :)

Best of luck, my advice would be to look for a field or a corner which looks like it is not used maybe gone wild find out who it belongs to and ask, sometimes if the owner thinks they can make a bit of money ? I will let you know if I hear of anything up your way' cheers.

Hi, Not totally sure at the moment, possibly a few sheep, a shetland pony and a goat (but would not be getting all initially)

Please remember that sheep, goats and horses are herd animals, so best kept with at least two so they have their own company. I'd advise researching any of these animals, there is lots of information on here about how many you can keep per acre, what food, medical care, shelter etc they require. Also may be worth finding someone local to you to have a look what animals/breeds they keep to see which you like. All the best with your adventures in livestock keeping ????
