Title: Homestead Survival
Post by: coltsfoot on January 04, 2014, 07:32:48 am
Am not sure if this is the right part of the forum to place this but, on facebook  I have "liked" Homestead Survival which has some great hints and tips on gardening, frugal living, food storage methods and much much more. I never thought you could use pallets for so many different things!!!!  ;D

Me too - at least I think it's the same group!

They post some great pictures and loads of good ideas.

Agree about the pallets, our entire chicken run was made from them with a few extras also found for free.

I was scared off at the first article - how to build an underground survival bunker  :o    After a nasty road accident many years ago, my sleep was haunted for several years by nightmares about survivalist groups in their cammo pseudo uniforms and huge armoury, mostly chasing me !!!  I don't want to spark that lot off again.
But that's just me - I'm sure the other articles are appropriate.
