hi all,
currently living in Northamptonshire, but the wife and I are in the process of looking for a smallholding in Pembrokeshire/Carmarthenshire with a view to moving in feb/march time.
we're both keen on having lots of veggies, chickens, pigs and maybe goats. Would also love some castlemilk moorit's, having previously seen them at the smallholding show at Builth Wells a few years ago.
we have numerous books on smallholding, self-sufficiency, poultry etc and can't wait to start putting some of it into practice. baby steps of course start with
Chris.

If you're house-hunting down this way, why not come on a course at Kate Humble's farm? www.humblebynature.com (http://www.humblebynature.com) Lots of different ones planned for this year - and a few more yet to be announced.
Good luck with it all.

Hello from Pembrokeshire, just done the same things ourselves and moved to Pembrokeshire in December. A new way of life for us as well. Learning lots very quickly.
Always welcome to call in for a cup if you're over this way.

Brilliant. :excited: :excited: Looking forward to hearing all about it. Happy moving.

Hope the move goes well , I don't doubt you are going to love it, we certainly do - lovely place, friendly people. Good timing, the wet, windy weather can't last much longer (can it?!) so hopefully we'll have a lovely spring (I'm an optimist and ever hopeful) and you can get out there and enjoy. Look forward to hearing an update.
All the best.
