Title: wanted to hire/borrow-sheep hurdles, Lanark/Biggar

I wondered if anyone could hire/lend me a set of the above for a couple of weeks please? My ground is washed out and mostly under water and the stables aren't going in before the second week in jan. I'd like to rig up a small pen in the workshop for the ponies so they can come in out of the weather for a few hours (won't be leaving them unattended but atm, having to hold them and could be getting on with other things).

You can hire metal pedestrian barriers, 7ft long for £1.50 per week Look on ebay or local adverts.
Would it not be easier to put some hooks in the wall and tie the ponies up?

Hi, I have four old sheep hurdles you can borrow but not sure if I am to far from you Broxburn here.

Landroverroy, we have done that, thanks. they get terribly bored very quickly when tied up though-they mainly live out and don't see why they should  ::)


Thanks for the offer Jaymac it is a little in the wrong direction given work etc  I think we'll carry on as we are until the stables are put in.
