DW price for lamb is about £3.90/kg at the moment which means that a 21kg dead lamb is worth £81.90 on the hook
If they are fit and a decent size you could buy them and kill them and make a small profit ---price usually rises from end of Feb although sometimes it takes until late March to come good so if you have grazing until 1st April you could get £5/kg which would give you £105/head or more  ----as long as none die you should do ok

If you are a gambling man you could keep them and sell as shearlings in the Autumn.

they'll make good breeding ewe's for next season but as for trying to sell them for meat I'd give that a miss. At 80 quid each you're only going to break even, and that's with out worming costs etc  :sheep:

I offered pure bred ewe lambs for sale at £65 each to reduce my stock over the winter, but apparently that was to expensive and was offered £500 for 8 that's £40 each. Were not talking rubbish sheep here, but ewe lambs that are well bred and well up to size.

You don't half get some comedians on here.

£500 for 8 is £62.50 each.

At £75 per ewe lamb thats ok for good breeding stock but a bit steep for meat.

Your correct Moony I apologise, it is £62.50 each, but still nor an offer I would take for decent breeding stock.

I thought my offer was reasonable. I have been waiting for a reply and just the other day re-messaged you about them.
