Today we went to see some Pedigree In lamb Charollais from a very good breeder. Left at Half 5 this morning and drove 150+ miles and the outcome was well worth it! :excited:
We have picked out 10 ewes, a mixture of ages but mostly 2 shear, All pedigree reg, There are a good few that have the MyoMAX gene and I was chuffed I picked out 2 ewes that are MyoMAX GOLD which is even better! They are due in March to a very good ram (High EBV's and amazing conformation) that cost them £5000. Being scanned between xmas and new year and picking them up shortly after. :fc: All of the girls we have picked will be in lamb (if not they will swap them for another equally matched ewe)
Roll on March!

We are toting with the idea of showing the lambs but there aren't many shows near us that do charollais classes. Depends how busy this summer is!!
