Hello one and all.
I live in torquay and have been looking at the forum for some time. I must say that it seems to be a really pleasant forum with lots of active members, though i expect it slows down a bit when there is loads of work to do. Maybe i'm wrong....hey ho.... Been wrong :dunce: before and will be wrong in the future so no worries.
I'm looking at the possibility of getting a couple of pigs and some chickens in the near future but first i need to find a bit of land to buy or rent in the torquay area. I would also like to grow even more fruit and veg for me and SWMBO. So the hunt begins.
The only livestock experience i have is with a Dalmatian, two kitties a budgie and some tropical fish.
So what has brought about this change? Well i'm going to be looking to do something completely different and have always wanted to rear some pigs but not had time due to work constraints, but things are going to change soon ;D .
The forum is really helpful and has given me loads of info and plenty to think about so a big thank you to all of you for that.
That's about it really, don't want to bore you good folk.
Regards
Keith
