Just for a bit of fun, So what would you all like for xmas (farming related only please):
Spare wellies
Waterproof trousers
More livestock (Including another dog)
New poultry sheds
Farming mags subscriptions
New wooly hat
New flask
If I'm lucky I'll maybe get the last 3 x :farmer:
-
Land please
hopefully this year i can start a serious search if things go according to plan...
2-5 acres would be fine i'm not greedy...
I just want to run some chooks, 2 pigs for the freezer and have a decent veg patch if thats possible...
-
Husband has plough on his list - which seems it might need a new tractor to pull it too ???
I've asked for a new drill which is not strictly farming related but will be used for farming purposes - and has caused amusement amongst his colleagues.

waterproofs
fur lined waterproof boots to keep my arthritic toes warm ::)
new hat to keep my Brains warm :roflanim:
a few ryelands would be nice but think they may have to be from me to me after Christmas :-\
some new long plastic feed troughs
a quad would be nice but now I am dreaming
-
Waterproofs, pocket knife, trailer - oh go on then I'll have a quad as well then thanks
-
Time - to do all the things I need to do
more time - to do all the things I want to do
And a tractor, naturally
-
A new rear door and clutch for the Landy
A little muck trailer for the quad that tips vertically
Unlimited winter socks
A cradle type big round bale feeder
Dream..... :excited:
-
A couple more sheep hurdles please Santa and someone to fix the gates :fc:
-
for the seller to say YES to the offer :fc:
i can't move on until i get that answer……
-
A wheeled hay feeder for the sheep!
-
Dry fields :gloomy:
-
A similarly minded mate to join in and muck in on the holding. I work much better with company.
-
Right oh John.
You gonna move closer to me or am I gonna move closer to you.
Today I needed an extra pair of hands putting an extension to my lambing shed. Some days it's hard work on your own.
;)
-
A young collie
Hand warmer things for over the quad handlebars
Those are the realistic things!
-
i'm still waiting for last years wish list to be granted - just one of the things on the list - anything!
-
A house with enough land to let my hens run free and a small flock of rylands
Until then I'll make do with a new warm long coat for working outside and dog walking, thermal socks and gloves
-
Some help would be nice......struggle in the bad weather doing livestock.
Some large hay or haylage bales to see us through the winter, and not have to worry about finding some.
Dry warm weather - and no mud!!
I would settle for some lined willies, and a wind resistant jacket, oh, and the compulsory warm hat!!
-
I would settle for some lined willies,
I do hope this is a typo. :roflanim:
I would settle for the health to be able to look after my own goats and do all my own growing.
-
No! I think she means it! :roflanim: :roflanim: :roflanim:
-
For our house offer to be accepted
A new hutch for my quail
A pressure washer to wash my eglu
Thermal jackets for my eglu
welly socks!
:santariding:
-
Time.
-
Roxy's too sensible to ask for a willy, lined or otherwise...
I'd like:
A dinky livestock trailer
Warm, dry gloves I can also work in
More shelter for the sheepies
More land of our own
Welly socks wot stay up
Loving homes for my excess sheep
A load of hardwood logs (sick of smashing up pallets)
To have more time
-
A few Boreray ewes would be very nice - don't have to be gift wrapped or anything :eyelashes:
-
Yes a bit of land & a quad bike & trailer would be nice too, that & a fuel efficient 4X4, & time to do all my other jobs but now I'm being greedy too ;D
