Title: 500 bales of hay - and the sheep say no.........

500+ bales of hay and the sheep won't touch it. They appear not to like this cut. Could be because they still have some green stuff underfoot?

Please share your experiences of this.

They will eat it once they get hungry. Grass still aplenty up here. I haven't even tried mine on hay yet this "winter" - 12 deg C as I type...

I haven't fed anyone get, theres still grass here and no one is skinny.
if they are hungry they will eat it.

I agree.  If you had a choice between a nice crusty cob loaf fresh from the oven and a packet of crispbread, which would you choose?
