I went to see some Soay's today in the pouring rain and have now added two polled ewe lambs one blond and one mouflon and also a handsome mouflon shearling tup to my flock, these are all hill bred and have never been in a building before so I think being in a warm dry stable with hay is a little over whelming. (the ewe lambs haven't yet worked out hay is food)
Needless to say a couple of weeks, probably a month, of bonding and training is required before they get set loose with the rest of the flock on 62 acres,
I'm sure there will be a few eventful gathering's, and a few story's to come, all I can say is the dog and I better be fast! :roflanim: And my ewes better except them into the fold!
