Title: Boar wanted (Pickering)
Post by: Browntea on December 11, 2013, 09:49:21 pm
Here we go again folks! I'm looking for a boar that can serve both of our girls one if which is a large commercial pink, the other is a pedigree Berkshire, I'm not too bothered about the breed of the boar so long as he can do the job! Please inbox me or call 07837620853 thanks

Have you tried the www.berkshirepigs.org.uk? (http://www.berkshirepigs.org.uk?)  It would be a shame not to pure-breed your Berky if she's registered.

Would it be worth you considering AI?  Not tried it myself, but others have used it successfully  :fc:

I've AI'd loads of sows on commercial units with success but when it comes to doing our own I fail all the time!! Think it's time I bought a boar!!

Hi, we take in visiting sows if you have no luck anywhere else.  We only have Hampshires and Tamworths though so may not be of interest to you  :)
