Hi there, Do any of you know any reasonably priced accomodation on the Shetland islands ? I am making a visit there alone mid October, to look at possible houses for sale. I would probably need three or four nights somewhere. A pub with food would be good, or B&B.
Thanks Kevin

Were a bit of a long way off as we get lots of visitors travelling up to the highlands and down from them!!!! If you dropped off here you would see loads of us around central Scotland ;D ;D Good luck with your search, bond to find somewhere stunning!!!

Sandy, I could do that. I am going to be driving my 27 year old Mercedes through the Ardennes, up to Northern France across to Dover and then up ! I could fly but I love the old car. It would be daft not to stop by though. I will keep in touch, cheers Kevin

Poor car, it's engine will be red hot!! I am still waiting to get my camper back, that was built in 1972 so I understand but what a journey!!!!!

Hey, Kev. It woudl be great to meet up if you're passing this way.
-
You could fly to Edinburgh and meet us all - someone could pick you up, spend a few days here meeting everyone, then fly to Sumburgh, then home from there.

And if you change your journey a bit and go via San Marlo/Poole you could meet all us Brittany lot as well. Although Pigs at les rues is on your way if you go through Normandy.

Sounds like we all will be fighting over you!!!
